Names, subdomains, and the play address
A hostname does not replace IP:port. Foxcore does not publish DNS. The panel on Cloudflare is not the game path.
What players type
Players join the allocation on the overview: IP, port, and protocol. Copy address copies that string. A memorable name is a DNS label in front of the same address. It is not a new server and not a dedicated IPv4.
Foxcore does not publish that DNS. There is no subdomain manager writing records. Until a zone and a token exist, the play address stays the IP:port already shown.
What a name would need
An A record points the name at the allocation IP only. The port is still required for almost every game. Minecraft Java can hide the port with an SRV record. Bedrock and most other titles cannot. HTTP on Cloudflare does not carry game UDP or the game TCP port.
The panel Worker is the account, billing, and desired state. It is not a proxy in front of the guest. A name that only exists in the panel does not make the guest reachable.
- Copy the join address from the instance overview.
- Give players that IP:port. Do not send a hostname Foxcore has not published.
- If you own DNS elsewhere, an A record can target the allocation IP. Keep the port unless the game documents an SRV record.
Why the panel is not the game address
The panel hostname is HTTP on Cloudflare. It is not a proxy for the guest. Game UDP and the game TCP port do not terminate on the Worker. Foxcore does not publish that DNS, so a name you invent in chat is not a join host. Copy address remains the play address. It is not a dedicated IPv4.
